Lazzarito

We cultivate a one-hectare property within the Lazzarito MGA, a majestic and well-exposed vineyard that stretches right in the middle of the long strip of land outlined by the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba. Endowed with great value and quality, it is recognized as one of the most famous and prestigious MGAs (Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuntive or cru). The soil, characterized by Diano sandstones, has a light color, almost white, is mostly made up of marl, sand with a high limestone content, and has a slightly looser structure than the surrounding soil. It endows the Barolo with color, full, round and strong, incredible structure and tannic texture, which require a long time for refinement in order to best express itself. To fully respect the characteristics of Lazzarito, we have chosen its grapes to vinify our Barolo Riserva, which comes out after 5 years of aging. A Barolo exclusively produced during the best vintages, after meticulous tastings and quality control.

This vineyard yields Barolo Docg Lazzarito Riserva
