35 hectares of property, of which 23 are planted with vineyards in six different areas of the Langhe: Monforte d’Alba, Barolo, Novello, Serralunga d’Alba, Grinzane Cavour, Roddino.

A wine landscape that includes areas very different among them and that represents all the sides of local wines, from the classic and “majestic” Barolo wines of Cannubi and Lazzarito, to the “aromatic” and elegant expressions of Ravera, and the fresh and original notes of Nebbiolo and Barbera d’Alta Langa, grown in Roddino.

Réva's relationship with the territory does not end with wine production. It is the revival of an ancient and, at the same time, visionary bond with the land.

For Réva, winemaking means retrieving the organic dimension of cultivating and living one's work, which sees sustainability and the enhancement of the natural synergies, which are typical of a balanced ecosystem, at the center of the agronomic operations.

In the «district of Roddino», for example, Réva has set its course of action according to the idea of agricultural harmonization inspired by biodynamics. Forestry, hazelnut cultivation and beekeeping are practiced alongside the cultivation of vineyards.

Réva is an integrated, harmonious and balanced project.

A living organism where each element communicates with all the different parts and each part leads back to the whole.

The scientific and meticulous analysis of agricultural management; prioritizing the protection of biodiversity; integration between agriculture and livestock; the direct relationship between the land and the table: everything at Réva contributes to creating a self-sufficient, virtuous and circular ecosystem, where it is possible to reconcile the sustenance of man and the future of the environment.

organic or undergoing organic conversion

Agronomic management of the vineyards at Réva is currently organic or undergoing organic conversion.

We have eliminated any synthetic or chemical derivative product, preferring organic practices and monitoring the effectiveness of biodynamic experiments.

We make use of green manure by planting and burying essences between the rows, especially leguminous plants, whose root system promotes nitrogen fixation and, going in depth, helps soil oxygenation by mobilizing and organicising a greater quantity of assimilable mineral elements.

Manual skills and timeliness

We promptly and manually work the vineyard, planning a targeted action for each vineyard, row by row, vine stock by vine stock if needed. Réva has a specialized team exclusively dedicated to work in the vineyard, a way to maximize the precision of the operations and better manage the vegetative evolution of each plant, in real time and according to its needs.

The soil is fertilized exclusively through the use of compostselected by local non-industrial breeders, whose production methods and characteristics are familiar to us. We choose well-aged manure that, before being used for fertilization, rests for months under the hay, “purified” by microorganisms. We thus obtain a fertilizer composed of pure organic matter, without the addition of chemical or synthetic components. In the near future, Réva will be able to produce closed-cycle compost, obtained from animal and natural sources from the same plots and farms that are part of the agricultural body (manure, pruning woods, pomace and mowing).

Thinking about the ecosystem

The organic vision of the vineyard also includes the attention to its interaction with the environment. We have therefore placed beehives at the edge of the vineyards, protected large wooded areas and allowed the cultivation of hazel groves and orchards.
